Modern Warfare 2 DLC deploys on March 30
"Stimulus Package" announced for Xbox LIVE, no word on other platforms
For those of you who have been milking Modern Warfare 2 for all it’s worth in the last four months, prepare yourselves for new multiplayer maps on March 30.
However, the number of new multiplayer maps to be released in this Stimulus Package, what they'll be like and how much they’ll cost still remains a mystery. And though we could predict that the DLC will also be available for download on PlayStation Network and PC in the future, there is no official word either. All we can hope for is the promise that whatever it is and whenever it is, Infinity Ward will not disappoint.
Even Xbox LIVE members with the free Silver membership will be able to benefit from Gold membership privileges from March 12 to March 15 during a special Multiplayer Unlock event. During that time, Xbox LIVE members who don't pay to play online will be able to enjoy a free trial of sniping their friends or watching their bodies ragdoll across a map.
