• War is coming in the new Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes teaser trailer:
Directed by Matt Reeves and co-starring Andy Serkis, Gary Oldman and Jason Clarke, Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes will open in the UK on Thursday 17 July 2014.
• In case you missed it at the weekend, it looks like Looper 's Rian Johnson is set to direct Star Wars episodes VIII and IX .
• Doctor Who 's Freema Agyeman, Lost 's Naveen Andrews, Daryl Hannah and Stargate Universe ‘s Brian J Smith are among the 14-member cast of Sense8 , Netflix‘s 10-episode sci-fi drama series from the Wachowskis and J Michael Straczynski. JMS told Deadline the series "follows eight characters around the world who, in the aftermath of a tragic death, find themselves linked to each other mentally and emotionally... They can not only see and talk to each other as though they were in the same place, they have access to each other’s deepest secrets."
• SFX 's fave space cowboy Nathan Fillion is set for a cameo in Guardians Of The Galaxy , it seems. James Gunn has taken to Twitter to address the rumours linking Nathan Fillion with a part in Guardians Of The Galaxy , confirming that the star will have "a very small fun cameo he did as a favour to me."
• Rumours emerge about Wonder Woman's costume in the new Dawn Of Justice movie.
• Folks have been chattering about Ant-Man ! Reports mention that the main villain of the film will be Darren Cross , a foe of Ant-Man Scott Lang in the source material and head of Cross Technological Enterprises. Meanwhile Marvel bigwig Kevin Feige says , "Edgar Wright, who I’ve known for many years, who wrote the draft with Joe Cornish – much of the movie will still be based very much on that draft and the DNA of what Edgar has created up to this point" adding that writer Adam McKay "is reworking parts of the script - not the entirety of the script."
• Sin City and Gimme Shelter star Rosario Dawson is set to join Netflix's Daredevil series , although her character has not been announced. We only know she "will play a dedicated young woman whose quest to heal the wounds of Hell’s Kitchen brings Matt Murdock unexpectedly crashing into her life."
• Could a solo Batman film be coming in 2019? Latino-Review reckons Ben Affleck is gearing up for The Batman .
• Speaking of which, could Daniel Radcliffe be keen to play Robin in a future Batman film ? Young Radcliffe answered "Batman" when recently asked by BuzzFeed which franchise he would consider joining now that he's done with the Harry Potter films.
