[PC] Taking the fight to Battlefield
Monday 7 August 2006
Enemy Territory: Quake Wars wowed gamers at the multiplayer gaming Quake Con event held in Dallas at the weekend where fans managed to go hands-on with this incredible-looking, team based first-person shooter.
Set before the previous Quake games, Enemy Territory will allow gamers to participate in skirmishes during the Strogg's first invasion of Earth. Players can side with either the extra-terrestrial aggressors or the defending forces and then go 12 against 12 in a series of multi-objective missions.
While this might sound just like Battlefield, developer Splash Damage is intending for Quake Wars to set new standards in online multiplayer shooters. It's doing this by providing players with a multitude of strategic options.
