Also, it's worth getting every class in the team involved as they can improve their rank and consequently carry better weapons or become more efficient at their job.
Then there's the option of spending time developing defences, assigning team member mini-objectives and setting up way points, which means there's a ton of tactical possibilities to consider before going on the offensive.
