Mortal Kombat coming to PS Vita this spring, Freddy Krueger and Kratos included
Though it’s missing the February launch, MK hits Sony's portable sooner rather than later
Mortal Kombat! Duh-nuh-nuh-nuh duh-nuh nuh-nuh duh-nuh-nuh-nuh… The world’s love of fatalities and blood-letting was renewed last year with the very well-received series reboot titled simply Mortal Kombat. Though a big hit on consoles (even getting a special edition), the lovably corrupting violence had yet to spread to portables, but all that’s changing very soon. WB Games is now sending MK to the PS Vita at some point in the next few months.
Based on the above box art, the Vita edition will be similar to the recently announced Komplete Edition and will at least include the DLC characters Skarlet, Kenshi, Rain and Freddy Krueger, along with the PS3 exclusive Kratos. The devs also promise some Vita specific features they’ll provide more details on later. For now, does the prospect of an approaching MK for Sony’s upcoming handheld drive your need for a Vita any?
