MotorStorm
We quiz developer Evolution on its PlayStation 3 off-road thriller
What's the most exciting thing you're working on in MotorStorm at the moment?
The downloadable content (DLC) - we've got some real fun stuff planned and it's great that we can now kick about some of the cool ideas we came up with during development.
It's always the way when you're making a game - a lot of great ideas come along when it's too late to add them in. Normally you have no choice but to file them away somewhere safe in case you get the opportunity to make a sequel. But with DLC we get to try them out in the finished game and, if we like something, we can work it up into a full DLC release. It's a great way to try out new ideas and suggestions!

How have you found working with such new hardware?
Fantastic. It's obviously not easy but everyone here relishes the challenge. We're on the cutting edge here and it is an awesome feeling to work on something that gives us the gameplay opportunities PS3 does.
Have you any other projects in the works for PS3?
Nothing we could say without having horses' heads left in our beds!
Racing game developers Criterion and Bizarre have both gone on to create FPS games - is there a genre besides racing that you'd like to get involved with?
We'd never rule it out but there is so much that can be done with the driving game genre at the moment, and it always makes sense to play to our strengths.
