Mr Driller: First ever DS shots
Namco's powertool-wielding mentalist drills his way on to Nintendo DS in inimitable block-dodging fashion
Namco have released the first few screenshots of Mr Driller DS - the new twin-screen incarnation of the massively underrated puzzle classic.
The Tetris-in-reverse-style gameplay this time involves a nemesis who follows you on to each level and then sits menacingly at the top of the screen. Players have to avoid touching the nemesis while digging their way to the goal at the bottom of the screen.
Like all the best puzzlers (Tetris, Bust-a-Move and, er, Dr Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine) it all sounds ridiculously simple - but we're sure that it'll offer Mr Driller's usual level of utter moreishness.
A release date for Mr Driller DS has yet to be announced although we're expecting it to hit Japan later this year
