MTV Commissions Teen Wolf For An Extended Season 3
Next year we’ll get 24 episodes of music-drenched, high-school werewolf action
MTV has recommissioned Teen Wolf for a third season, and next year we’ll be getting even more music-drenched, high school werewolf action, because the network has ordered 24 more episodes, reports TVLine .
Seasons one and two have both been 12 episodes long.

“ Teen Wolf represents a terrific foray into the scripted world for the millennial MTV audience, and marks tremendous success in the continued diversification of our schedule,” said MTV programming boss David Janollari, who clearly hasn’t read the memo that using the word millennial is so last decade. “Renewing the show for a third season celebrates the creative vision of executive producer Jeff Davis and the remarkable talent of the cast who bring this bona fide fan favorite to life.”
Another change is that season three will be shot in Los Angeles as opposed to Atlanta, where the first two were shot.
