Muppet movie adds Jane Lynch and Jack Black
Goes on a casting spree
Jane Lynch, Jack Black and Donald Glover are just a few of the names that have signed on to appear in the soon-to-shoot Greatest Muppet Movie Ever Mad e .
Living up to that rather confident title, the film has also drawn in the likes of Paul Rudd, Danny Trejo, Eric Stonestreet, John Krasinski, Ed Helms and… Lady Gaga.
Clearly, this lot just can’t wait to interact with some of the best fluffy acting talent in town.
According to Production Weekly , Glee star Lynch will play a (no doubt motor-mouthed) prison guard, with Trejo one of her (bad-ass) prisoners.
Hangover chap Zach Galifianakis will be taking on the role of Hobo Jo, while Lady Gaga will play herself – and surely get Miss Piggy in a huff by flirting with everything that moves.
With Jason Segel already installed as the film’s star, and Amy Adams confirmed to be involved, The Greatest Muppet Movie Ever Made is quickly turning out to be something to get very excited about indeed.
