The best Naraka Bladepoint weapons tier list
Swords, spears, daggers, and the new nunchucks are the best Naraka Bladepoint weapons
The best Naraka Bladepoint weapon is always the one that works best for you. A Dagger is better in the hands of someone who’s learned all the combo’s, and a Flamebringer is better if you play in a team. That said, some Naraka Bladepoint weapons are, generally speaking, more useful than others.
Our Naraka Bladepoint weapon tier list is divided over melee and ranged weapons. As this is an updated list, some weapons are ranked higher or lower than they did right after release. We’ve also included the brand-new Nunchucks that were part of the Bruce Lee update in December.
Let’s see which weapons are the best!
Best Naraka Bladepoint melee weapons
Longsword S tier
The Longsword may be the most balanced Naraka Bladepoint weapon in terms of damage output, range, and speed. It has pretty straightforward combo’s and a surprising range; a charge attack can easily hit your opponent from a distance while knocking them down. What makes it quite overpowered though, is the fact that you can spam your first vertical attack (using dodge) without allowing your opponent a chance to counter. Some players have asked the developer to reduce the Longsword’s stagger duration upon hit, but for now it’s still the go-to weapon if you wish to climb the Naraka Bladepoint leaderboards.
Dagger S tier
In our previous weapon tier list, we called the Dagger overpowered. Although it has received a lot of changes since then, it still holds true. It seems like the changes have both improved the Dagger (easier Dagger Dash and great Souljades) and nerfed it a bit (no Soulbreak charge). Overall, it’s a weapon with great range, speed, and extreme versatility. And it still has the overpowered Dagger Dash combo, which activates golden focus and enables you to land an extra focus attack while dodging.
Nunchucks A tier
Nunchucks are the latest Naraka Bladepoint melee weapon. They’re great for both defense (the Horizontal Block ability) and offense. It’s especially strong if you manage to land the extended Dragon Flurry focus attack. The result will be somewhat similar to the Dagger, as you can stagger your opponent continuously. Keep in mind that you need to counter quite a bit in order to make full use of the Nunchucks’ abilities.
Spear A tier
The Spear is very fast and can easily knock down your opponent. However, although the Naraka Bladepoint developers dubbed it the ‘King of the Battlefield’, it didn’t get as popular among higher ranked players as the Longsword or Dagger. Thanks to its recent buffs though, the Spear now has a higher damage output and range. If you can familiarize yourself with the Dragonslayer plus Nezha combo, you’ve got yourself a winning move.
Katana A tier
The Longsword and the Katana seem awfully similar at first glance, but which of these Naraka weapons is the best? The Katana is slightly faster than the Longsword, but it also has a slightly lower attack power. Unlike the Longsword though, the Katana has a rather short range and can’t launch enemies as easily. As its stagger ability is also weaker compared to the Longsword’s, it’s placed lower on our Naraka Bladepoint weapon tier list.
Greatsword B tier
This is an extremely powerful weapon, as one good hit can already rid you of your enemy. The Greatsword is one of the best defensive Naraka weapons too, as it will protect you from knockback after clashing with an opponent. Furthermore, the Greatsword performs a Focus attack on the second combo hit instead of the third. As with any massive Greatswords in fighting games, its downside is its slow speed. The Greatsword is one of the best weapons if you’re new to Naraka Bladepoint, but once you’re up against more experienced players, they may predict and dodge your attacks a little too often.
Bloodripper C tier
Just look at it. The Bloodripper is probably the most badass-looking weapon in the game right now. However, it’s too slow (it takes a moment to charge the Focus) and predictable to be among the best weapons in Naraka Bladepoint. Still, its ability to take down an opponent without allowing them to counterattack is very useful. And although it’s relatively easy to avoid getting hit by the Bloodripper, once you do manage to hit someone it’s usually game over for them.
Best Naraka Bladepoint ranged weapons
Bow S tier
The Bow, the Musket, or maybe the Crossbow? As it really depends on the situation, it’s hard to say which one gets the award for best ranged weapon in Naraka Bladepoint. If you want to snipe enemies from far away, the Bow has twice as much range as a Crossbow. You probably don’t want to rely on its relatively weak quick shots, but one successful hit from a Bow’s charged attack can turn the odds of battle in your favor. It’s true that the Bow’s Charged attacks have received a small damage reduction in the past few months, but it’s still the strongest ranged weapon.
Musket S tier
The Musket is very similar to the Bow (a bit like the Longsword versus Katana dilemma). The Musket also requires charge time, but is equally suitable for sniping enemies. Here’s the difference: although this Naraka weapon deals less damage than a fully charged Bow hit, it has a zoom function and a larger magazine. If you’re willing to take a few more shots from far away, the Musket may be the better option.
Crossbow A tier
The Crossbow is a good weapon, but harder to use effectively compared to the Bow and the Musket. The continued fire from the charged attack (plus the large magazine) basically turns the Crossbow into Naraka’s version of the automatic rifle, but the highly mobile nature of Naraka Bladepoint’s combat makes it difficult to actually kill someone. If tracking dodging targets isn’t your strong suit, you’re probably better off with a long-distance Bow headshot and melee attacks.
Pistol A tier
The Pistol is a useful weapon in close range. Although it used to be quite difficult to land any hits due to the long charge time and slow movement speed, the latter has received a major buff since then. You’ll now be able to keep up with Naraka’s fast-paced combat while loading bullets. Thanks to this change, the Pistol has moved up in our weapon tier list.
Swarm B tier
The Swarm can quickly cover a large area in explosive blasts (even at a low charge level and from far away), potentially taking out several opponents at once. It’s also surprisingly versatile, as you can choose between quick bursts and a charged attack resulting in a massive string of explosions. The only downside is, of course, the long time needed to charge it fully. If your opponents see you coming, the Swarm’s explosions can easily be avoided.
Flamebringer B tier
Although one is a melee weapon and the other is ranged, the Flamebringer feels a bit similar to the Bloodripper. The Flamebringer doesn’t stagger enemies, but it can easily cover several enemies at once when playing squad mode. It doesn’t require a charge, which is also very handy. The damage and range are just too limited to allow a higher ranking.
Cannon C tier
The Cannon seems very powerful at first glance, but it’s not versatile or fast enough to be among the best Naraka Bladepoint weapons. Unlike the Swarm, you can’t switch between a quick burst or a long charged attack as the situation requires. Enemies always know what’s coming if they spot you, and surprise attacks are harder due to its shorter range.
