The Forest scares the hell out of Natalie Dormer in this first trailer
The first trailer has appeared for horror film The Forest, in which Natalie Dormer journeys to Japan in order to track down her twin sister. She was last seen headed into Aokigahara Forest, a known suicide spot, and Dormer intends to head in there to bring her home.
However, as a tremulous old Japanese woman explains to her, “spirits cannot rest there… they come back angry”. And sure enough, as soon as Dormer sets foot in the woods, things start to go very, very wrong. Check out the new trailer, below…
Looks like the new film won’t be found wanting for jump scares, with all manner of ghouls queuing up to terrify the living daylights out of our heroine. Directed by Jason Zada and co-starring Taylor Kinney, Eoin Macken and Rina Takasaki, The Forest will open in the US on January 8, 2016 and the UK on March 25, 2016.
