Neverwinter Nights 2
D&D based RPG sequel ships in September
For players who like their role-playing games Dungeons %26amp; Dragons flavored, Neverwinter Nights was an answer to prayers. However, it's been quiet for a long time in the city of Neverwinter ... too long. But yesterday a rumor of a September 2006 ship date for the sequel,NeverwinterNights 2was dropped in the Neverwinter Nights forums, and today that rumor was confirmed, along with the announcement of the official web site at www.nwn2.com
The buzz surrounding the original Neverwinter is still going strong, as the game has shipped several official expansions - but better still, tools came with the core game that let players build their own content. In true Dungeons %26 Dragons style, players amassed a mountain of free custom content, and NWN became the biggest destination for co-operative role-playing with friends. Just 64 friends, however (including you), in a decidedly un-massive online fashion.
