New banner and character posters for Skyfall

Skyfall has released a glut of new promotional material ahead of its release in October, including a brand new banner and a quartet of individual character posters.

The new posters turn the spotlight on to Bond (of course), Naomie Harris' love interest, Bérénice Marlohe's femme fatale and Javier Bardem's unsettlingly blonde villain, Silva. Bardem certainly knows how to weird up his hair for added menace…

The monochrome colour-scheme isn't the most exciting we've ever seen, although it does fit with Daniel Craig's no-nonsense take on the character. That said, there's not a lot of 007's signature flair about these, save Marlohe's slinky costume of course.

Skyfall will see Bond attempting to clean up after M when the MI6 bigwig loses possession of a datastick containing the whereabouts of every British intelligence agent currently in the field. Naturally, it isn't long before they start being sent home in body-bags…

Directed by Sam Mendes and co-starring Ben Whishaw, Judi Dench and Ralph Fiennes, Skyfall opens in the UK on 26 October 2012. In the meantime you can take a look at the individual posters below...
