Beauty & The Beast looks positively lovely. But you already knew that. You've seen it in the promo images and trailers. What you might not have seen is that it's also aiming to be funny. Two new tv spots released this week take scenes we're familiar with (Belle meeting the castle's servants and Beast fighting off wolves) and add new sprinkles of comedy - check 'em out below:
Beauty & The Beast is one of my very favorite movies - I get a little bit teary-eyed just hearing the orchestral score. So it's good to know that when this new version hits theaters and I turn into a blubbering mess, I can save face and say "No, I'm just crying because of the jokes! They're ... *sniff* just really funny, I swear!"
Directed by Bill Condon and starring Emma Watson, Dan Stevens, Luke Evans, Emma Thompson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Ewan McGregor, Ian McKellen, Josh Gad, Kevin Kline, and Stanley Tucci, Beauty and the Beast is set for release on March 17, 2017.
