New character posters for Red Lights
Cillian Murphy and Robert De Niro look shifty
Red Lights , Rodrigo Cortés' supernatural thriller, has released a new set of character posters, featuring Cillian Murphy, Sigourney Weaver, Robert De Niro and Elizabeth Olsen looking distinctly inscrutable.
Cortés' follow-up to the ingenious Buried will follow a pair of physicists (Murphy and Weaver) who investigate supernatural hoaxes for a living but begin to question their cynicism following an encounter with famed psychic, Simon Silver (De Niro).
Silver has been off the map for years, ever since his most prominent critic died in mysterious circumstances. Now he has returned, he finds himself squarely in the crosshairs of an investigation. But who exactly is playing who?
The new posters play up this sense of uncertainty, with a quartet of mysterious taglines querying, “what do you think you know?” and insisting that, “your brain lies to you.” All very intriguing, we’re sure you’ll agree.
Red Lights opens in the UK on 15 June 2012. Until then, run the rule over the new posters below and see who you reckon looks the least trustworthy...
