A new Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol clip has arrived online, following up from the one released earlier this week .
In it, we see Jeremy Renner’s character actually going through with the fan jump he was discussing with Simon Pegg’s character in the earlier clip. And looking at the actual task he’s faced with, you can understand why he had some reservations...
Tom Cruise also appears in this one, with Ethan Hunt taking a back seat as Renner’s Brandt places himself in the firing line. Meanwhile, Pegg is once again on beautifully laconic form, doing little to ease Brandt’s concerns as he sits comfortably behind the scenes.
We’re getting a good feeling about this one, thanks in no small part to Renner’s considerable on-screen charisma. If the franchise is going to continue without Cruise, he’s surely the man to carry it…
Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol is released in the UK on 26 December 2011.
