New clip from The Watch: watch now

The Watch has released a new clip online, featuring our four intrepid watchmen embarking upon a stakeout in front of a wholesale warehouse.

The film sees a group of suburban guys set up a neighbourhood watch scheme as a way of getting some male-bonding time away from their families, only for things to get serious when they stumble upon an alien invasion.

The new scene shows the chaps cooped up in Ben Stiller’s car, only for Vince Vaughn to realise he needs the bathroom. Unwilling to “blow their cover” by leaving the car, he takes unconventional steps to remedy the situation, much to Stiller’s displeasure.

Check out the new clip, below...

We’ve seen Stiller and Vaughn play these character types before, but that’s not to say their uptight nerd and motormouth wiseass personas aren’t entertaining. Funniest of all, however, is Ayoade, whose gormless grin threatens to raise a chuckle every time he’s on-screen.

Directed by Akiva Shaffer from a script by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, The Watch opens in the UK on 29 August 2012. Dick jokes and aliens... what’s not to like?
