New Dead Space 2 'Severed' DLC screens crawl out of a dark corner

Visceral Games and EA have released three screenshots of 'Severed,' the upcoming Dead Space 2 DLC expansion featuring Gabe Weller and Lexine Murdock from the Wii's Dead Space: Extraction. The screens didn't actually crawl out of anything, because that doesn't make any sense, but given that they're nice and big, they did sort of download at crawl.

If you're looking for a new desktop wallpaper (more like DEADtop wallpaper, amirite?), click for big:

Above: Lens flare

Above: Not as much lens flare

Above: No lens flares or overexposed light sources anywhere - this screen may be faked

Severed has been announced for PS3 and 360, but curiously, no PC release has been mentioned. The add-on does not yet have a date, which means that it will be sad and alone this Valentine's Day.
