New Gone Girl posters arrive online
Amy Dunne is missing…
Four new teaser posters for Gone Girl have arrived online, featuring various pieces of evidence relating to the disappearance of Rosamund Pike’s character, Amy Dunne.
Adapted from the novel by Gillian Flynn, the film will follow Ben Affleck’s protagonist, Nick Dunne, who reports his wife missing on their fifth wedding anniversary.
However, when holes start to appear in his story, and the marriage he describes begins to sound less and less idyllic, Dunne finds himself under growing pressure from police and media alike…
The new posters feature a series of evidence bags, each of which is filled with a piece of the puzzle, including a wedding photo, a diary entry, a scalpel and some lingerie. Nothing to give the game away then, but plenty to get us good and intrigued…
Directed by David Fincher and co-starring Neil Patrick Harris, Scoot McNairy and Missi Pyle, Gone Girl will open in the UK on 3 October 2014.
