New Hobbit image of Bofur, Bombur, and Bifur released
More dwarves take their bow
Another set of dwarves from The Hobbit have been revealed online thanks to a new official shot from the currently-shooting book adap.
This latest snap gives us our first glimpse of Bofur (James Nesbitt), Bombur (Stephen Hunter), and Bifur (William Kircher).
Set apart from the rest of the Company of Thorin Oakenshield, Bofur, his brother Bombur and their cousin Bifur are descendants of coal miners and iron workers.
Their participation in the quest for the Lonely Mountain mostly hinges on the promise of free beer and great treasure.
Peter Jackson is being pretty canny with the release of all these Hobbit shots. By sating our appetite for new stuff even while shooting's underway, he’s keeping security tight and fans very, very happy.
Sadly, seeing as central dragon Smaug will be a CGI creation, we’ll probably be waiting a long time before we get our first glimpse of him…
