New image arrives from The Worlds End
The boys are back in town
The World’s End has released a brand new image online at Filmofilia , featuring Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Paddy Considine, Eddie Marsan and Martin Freeman swaggering their way to the pub.
The film is the concluding part in Edgar Wright’s Blood & Ice Cream trilogy, and will follow Pegg and his mates as they attempt to recreate a legendary pub crawl from their youth.
Pegg plays Gary, “a 40-year-old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens”, drifting through life without any real purpose. However, on this particular night, the opportunity for heroism will loom suddenly and unexpectedly large.
The new image doesn’t give much away, aside for providing another look at Pegg’s ridiculous fading rocker get-up. Grown men really shouldn’t strut around in jet-black trenchcoats…
Co-written by Wright and Pegg and also starring Rosamund Pike, The World’s End will open in the UK on 14 August 2013.
