New images arrive for Looper

Looper has debuted a batch of new stills online featuring Emily Blunt, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis, all of whom look a mite badass…

Rian Johnson's sci-fi actioner is set in a future world in which time travel is not only possible, but has been hijacked by criminals to further their nefarious schemes.

JGL plays a "looper", a hit man charged with executing various targets sent back through time to him by the villains of the future. However, his job becomes more complicated when his latest target turns out to be an older version of himself (played by Willis).

The new images give us a first look at Emily Blunt's character Sara, a farm girl who becomes embroiled in JGL's adventure, and who clearly isn't afraid to kick a little arse, should the situation require it.

Elsewhere, there's another look at Gordon-Levitt looking cool and Bruce Willis firing a big old gun, which to be honest, we'll never get tired of seeing. Looper opens in the UK on 28 September 2012. Check out the new images below...
