New Lone Ranger poster revealed
Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer don’t look at explosions
The Lone Ranger , Disney's big-budget revamp of the fondly remembered TV and radio serial, has revealed a new poster online.
It’s hardly the most inspiring piece of promo art, taking a variant of a much-seen still and slapping a title and star names on it.
Armie Hammer and Johnny Depp do at least look cool as the titular lawman and Native American spirit walker, and the scratchy finish and punky fonts hint at a slightly anarchic aesthetic. It lacks the brio of the teaser poster though...
The film follows Hammer’s left-for-dead man-of-the-law John Reid and his quest for justice. After being discovered by Tonto (Depp), Reid decides that his best option for justice involves wearing a mask.

And in case you needed reminding, cool guys don't look at explosions...
