New Mass Effect 3 details coming next month

We don't know much about Mass Effect 3 yet, but it appears that BioWare is about ready to spill the beans - multiple game magazines are teasing a big reveal in their next issues.

The most direct teaser comes from PSM3 magazine in the UK, which unequivocally promises a "world-first look at Mass Effect 3 on PS3" in the next print of the publication set to hit newsstands on April 28.

Other mags are getting in on the action too, though they're being a bit more subtle. For example, the French Official PlayStation Magazine teases a "long overdue" look at an upcoming title, assumed to be the new Mass Effect.

In the US, Game Informer's most recent edition entices readers to buy the next issue for details on a "highly anticipated" sequel to a game from 2010. Gotta be Mass Effect 3.

This will be the first new Mass Effect title since BioWare took the series cross-platform to the PS3. ME3 will be released on Xbox 360, PS3, and PCsimultaneously, making it the furthest-reaching launch for the franchise to date.
