X-Force
Director: Jeff Wadlow
Cast: TBC
Genre: Comic Book Actioner
Plot: Mark Millar's the man behind the evolution of Fox's Marvel cinematic universe, but he's keeping schtum on the next X-Men spin-off. Fans will be kept busy guessing which incarnation of the mutant team it'll focus on, but we're going to put bets on a harder, more R-Rated foray into the morally dubious, complex world of an X-Men wet works team. And with the director of Kick-Ass 2 on board to helm and write, it certainly feels like it could be a darker superhero flick than fans of the merry mutants are used to.

Prometheus 2
Director: Ridley Scott
Cast: TBC
Genre : Sci-fi
Plot: At this early stage ( Prometheus 2 hasn't actually received an official green light yet), any plot details are being firmly guarded by a slathering xenomorph (we assume). A script is written, though (by Jack Paglen), and Ridley Scott's keen on returning for more alien artery-bothering. Expect the plot to pick up where Prometheus left off, with android David (Michael Fassbender) accompanying Elizabeth Shaw (Noomi Rapace) on a deadly quest among the stars.
