Plot: Hollywood tackles another beloved children's classic from the 80s and 90s, with a movie that aims to bring the 'Heroes in a Half-Shell' to the big screen. The story, which follows the heroic exploits of four ninja-skilled genetically pimped turtles who are trained by an equally as genetically pimped rat sensei. They fight crime, eat pizza and hang around with intrepid roving reporter April O'Neill (Fox). Although quite how they'll manage to outdo the previous movie's Vanilla Ice cameo is beyond us.

Cue an escape plan as desperate and mind-boggling as the one in The Shawshank Redemption . Probably.

Plot: No word on the plot just yet, but a whole lot of anticipation for the return of our favourite animated pooch. With the film's release set to coincide with the comic strip’s 65th anniversary, the teaser trailer shows Snoopy, Charlie Brown and cheeky-beaked Woodstock in 3D finery. Written by Craig and Brian Schulz (sons of comic-strip creator Charles), Peanuts should keep the fun spirit of the original characters alive.

The story focuses on an exploration of physicist Kip Thorne's theories of gravity fields, wormholes and a bunch of other astrophysical science stuff theorised by Albert Einstein.
