New plot details for Woman In Black sequel
Eel Marsh House is a mental hospital
The Woman In Black became the most successful British horror film of the last 20 years when it took the box office by storm back in February, so it should come as no surprise to learn that Hammer are extremely keen to produce a sequel.
The studio has been working in conjunction with author Susan Hill in order to bring The Woman In Black: Angels Of Death to the big screen, with original story editor Jon Croker currently working on adapting the screenplay.
As to what we can expect from the sequel, the first plot details have now been revealed, with Shock Till You Drop laying their hands on the following official synopsis:
“Seized by the government and converted into a military mental hospital during World War II, the sudden arrival of disturbed soldiers to Eel Marsh Harsh has awoken its darkest inhabitant. Eve, a beautiful young nurse, is sent to the house to care for the patients but soon realizes she must save them from more than their own demons. Despite Eve’s efforts to stop her, one by one they fall victim to the Woman in Black.”
As yet, the project is very much at the development stage, but with work on the script progressing apace, expect casting and directorial appointments to be made sooner rather than later...
