Two new posters arrive for The Wolverine
Hugh Jackman goes beserk
The Wolverine has released a pair of brand new posters online, one of which finds our sideburn-sporting hero finds himself surrounded by a swarm of black-clad ninjas, while the other has him bellowing against a Tokyo skyline.
The new film will pick up some time after the events of X-Men: The Last Stand , and will find Logan searching for a new life in Japan away from his former team-mates.
It isn’t long before he’s fallen head over heels for a local girl, but things get complicated when it transpires that her father is the head of a powerful Yakuza crime gang.
The new posters both play up the idea of Wolverine being out of his comfort zone, while Hugh Jackman looks as ripped as ever in the title role. Can Wolvie take on hoards of ninjas powered by shouty rage alone? We shall see…
Directed by James Mangold and co-starring Rila Fukushima, Will Yun Lee and Tao Okamoto, The Wolverine will open in the UK on 26 July 2013.
