New poster for Texas Chainsaw 3D
Evil wears many faces…
Texas Chainsaw 3D has released a brand new poster, in which Leatherface reveals his new look while shoving a big old chainsaw up in your grill.
To be honest, no updated incarnation is ever going to top the deranged visage of Tobe Hooper’s original bogeyman, but this new Leatherface does look off-kilter enough to provide a few scares of his own.
The new film will pick up where the events of the original left off, with a lone survivor escaping the attentions of the cannibalistic Sawyer family and fleeing to the town of Newt, Texas, to tell her story.
One angry mob later, and the old Sawyer house was nothing but a heap of smouldering ashes. Fast forward a few decades and a young woman discovers she’s inherited some land. Guess where it is? And guess who’s still lurking around, waiting to get the motor running once more?
Directed by John Luessenhop and co-starring Alexandra Daddario and Scott Eastwood, Texas Chainsaw 3D will open in the UK on 9 January 2013. Check out the new poster in full, below…
