New poster for The Words
Bradley Cooper is a fibber
A new poster has arrived for Bradley Cooper’s The Words , in which the Hangover star plays a struggling writer who makes an extraordinary discovery.
The film, directed by first-time helmers Brian Kluger and Lee Sternthal, follows Cooper’s character as he finds an ancient but brilliant manuscript and passes the work off as his own.
Swamped by critical acclaim, Cooper finally achieves the recognition he has long craved, but it isn’t long before his conscience starts to have second thoughts…
Cooper will be joined by Zoe Saldana, Jeremy Irons, Dennis Quaid, Olivia Wilde, Ben Barnes, and JK Simmons in an impressive ensemble cast. As for the poster, it’s a rather eye-catching affair, capturing the sense of mental turmoil experienced by Cooper’s character. Oh, and it features lots of words, like in the title.
The Words will premiere at this month’s Sundance festival, with an official release date yet to be confirmed. The film is expected to receive a general release later in the year.
