New Star Wars: Rogue One trailer to debut on Thursday, check out trailer preview now
Many were disappointed when the second trailer for Star Wars: Rogue One didn't debut at Star Wars Celebration - even though there were reports that it would - but we won't have to wait much longer for new footage of the highly anticipated spin-off. Star Wars' official Twitter account has announced that a new trailer will be premiering this Thursday, and snippets of the upcoming promo can be found in the TV spot that aired on NBC.

In addition to a fresh bit of dialogue from Felicity Jones' Jyn Erso - "This is our chance to make a real difference" - the TV spot also includes a cool rendition of a familiar Star Wars score. While there's more than a good chance of Darth Vader showing up in Thursday's clip, it will be interesting to see what other footage is unveiled in the second trailer.
Directed by Gareth Edwards and starring Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Riz Ahmed, Ben Mendelsohn, Forest Whitaker, Mads Mikkelsen and Alan Tudyk, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is scheduled to open in UK and US cinemas on December 16, 2016.
