New Street Fighter X Tekken characters revealed
Ibuki, Hugo, Raven and Kuma all confirmed at GamesCom
Capcom has released a new trailer at GamesCom revealing 4 new characters for the upcoming Street Fighter X Tekken: teen ninja Ibuki, massive spaz Hugo, badass ninja Raven and the pièce de résistance, Kuma. The video also gives an in-depth look at SF X Tekken’s new fighting systems and how they work. Oh, and Kuma rips a huge fart in Guile’s face.
Above: Yup.
I realize that anything after that image is going to be a let down, but I'll solider on anyway. It’s interesting to see a trailer that focuses so heavily on the actual gameplay mechanics, inputs and all. Here's a quick break down:
Switch: MP and MK. Replaces the Focus Attack from SFIV. Can be used to cancel a special move andinstantly tag your partner in. Called a Switch Cancel, it uses one meter of yourCross Gauge.
Launcher: HP and HK. A big attack that can be easily punished if it misses, the Launcher sends your opponent airborne and tags in your partner, who can attack the launched opponent mid-air. Does not use meter.
Cross Rush: L attack, M attack, H attack. A simple combo for every character that ends in a launcher attack if youadd an additional H attack at the end.
Cross Arts: QCF + MK and MP. The character unleashes a high damage super move that consumes all of your Cross Gauge.

Cross Assault: QCB + MK and MP. The real brain bender, Cross Assault calls in your partner allowing you to attack with both characters simultaneously. We're not sure if you can control each character manually or if AI plays a role, but this looks to be the most deadly way to use your meter.
Street Fighter X Tekken arrives March 2nd on Playstation 3, Playstation Vita and Xbox 360.
