New Suicide Squad character clip gives us more of Will Smith's Deadshot
Yesterday's Suicide Squad character trailer was devoted to Viola Davis' Amanda Waller (and, to a lesser extent, Joel Kinnaman's Rick Flagg). Today it's all about Will Smith's assassin for hire - better known as Deadshot - and the new footage is suitably action-packed.
Check it out below...
Suicide Squad is the most excited I've been for a movie starring Will Smith in a long time, and part of that excitement stems from Deadshot being a character without strict morals, something which Smith doesn't normally play. Everything we've seen from him so far indicates that he's going to bring his movie star charisma to the role, and when you couple that with Smith's clear chemistry with Margot Robbie this could end up being one of his more memorable performances.
Directed by David Ayer and starring Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, and Joel Kinnaman, Suicide Squad will open in the UK and US on August 5, 2016.

Superman’s super dog Krypto may look all innocent in the trailer, but James Gunn says he is a "terrible dog" and is based on his own mischievous mutt
Superman will "sort of" have a post-credits scene but it won't be similar to the "pain in the ass" story setup that James Gunn still regrets from Guardians of the Galaxy 2
