New Total Recall clip lands online: watch now

Total Recall has released a new action-packed clip in which Colin Farrell and Jessica Biel find themselves in a firefight with Kate Beckinsale and a swarm of armoured drones.

The new clip gives us a first glimpse of the tension between Biel and Beckinsale's characters, as the latter smirks to her former husband (Farrell), "You might want to give your little girlfriend a kiss goodbye… so long as she doesn't mind where those lips have been." Ooh, burn.

Biel plays a tough-as-nails freedom fighter who comes to the aid of Farrell's Douglas Quaid, when a trip to memory modifying company Rekall ends in him becoming a wanted man. Beckinsale on the other hand is the mysterious agent charged with bringing him in.

Take a look at the new clip, below…

The real entertainment will come when Beckinsale and Biel eventually go toe to toe with each other, but as appetite-whetters go, this isn't bad for starters. Meanwhile, those drones look pretty rugged, don't they? The bullets just seem to fly off them…

Directed by Len Wiseman and co-starring Bokeem Woodbine, Bryan Cranston and Bill Nighy, Total Recall opens in the UK on 29 August 2012, when you'll be firmly encouraged to get your ass to the multiplex!
