New trailer arrives for dystopian sci-fi Divergent: watch now
Personality goes a long way…
Young adult saga Divergent has released a brand new trailer online, starring Shailene Woodley as a young girl living in a society in which the population is divided into personality-based factions.
Woodley plays Tris, a misfit whose personality type doesn’t fit into any of these pre-assigned groups, labelling her a “divergent”, and a perceived threat to the status quo.
Sure enough, Tris’s secret lands her in grave danger, with the future of her world soon weighing upon her young shoulders.

The comparisons with The Hunger Games are obvious, but with a talented cast and acclaimed source material, we’re hoping that Divergent can prove itself more than a pale reflection of that YA trendsetter.
Directed by Neil Burger and co-starring Kate Winslet, Ashley Judd and Jai Courtney, Divergent will open in the UK on 21 March 2014.
