New trailer for Inside Llewyn Davis: watch now
"Explain the cat!"
A new trailer has arrived online for the Coen brothers' Inside Llewyn Davis , starring Oscar Isaac as a young folk singer trying to make his way in '60s New York.
The new trailer is big on the film's comedic moments, with John Goodman stealing a good few scenes as the acid-tongued Roland Turner, seen here criticising Llewyn's friend's choice of suicide spot.
Meanwhile, even the most hardened Mumford %26 Sons cynic would be hard-pushed to criticise the choice of music, with Marcus Mumford and Isaac duetting on gorgeous backing track, 'Fare Thee Well'.
Take a look at the new trailer, below:
As trailers go, we'd describe that one as pretty damn beautiful. Evocative, amusing and pleasingly low on plot-point spoilers, it does its appetite-whetting work impeccably.
Directed by the Coens and co-starring Carey Mulligan, Justin Timberlake and Garrett Hedlund, Inside Llewyn Davis opens in the UK on 24 January 2014.
