'Next car game' from FlatOut dev shows spectacular car wrecks
But is it 'next-gen car game?'
Bugbear Entertainment, the team behind the original FlatOut games and, more recently, Ridge Racer Unbounded, has announced its 'Next Car Game' and shown off a video of in-game footage to prove it. The team announced the project via its official website and explained: "We're making a new car game. This time we're going back to our roots - just like all of our fans have been asking us to do! If you like what you see above, you're going to love it. It's all in-game footage!"
Those roots would be physics-based car wreck mayhem, only with 2013 sheen liberally applied. Observe:
The big question remains: Which platform is this running on? Can Xbox 360 and PS3 do this? Or is this actually Next-Gen Car Game? We'll bring you more as soon as we have it.
