Nicole Kidman lined up for Anchorman 2 cameo
Plus Harrison Ford comments on his appearance
Anchorman: The Legend Continues has another A-list cameo lined up, with THR reporting that Nicole Kidman is set to make a brief appearance in the comedy sequel.
No word as yet regarding what her role will entail, but it's another big signing to back up Adam McKay's pledge to assemble "a murderer’s row of the best day players ever".
The report goes on to claim that Vince Vaughn and Luke Wilson are also in line to film a pair of walk-on parts, with Terrence Stamp, Gregg Kinnear and Kristen Wiig also reported to be involved.
One other big star set to make an appearance is Harrison Ford, who has been downplaying his involvement in deadpan fashion. "it’d be easy enough to cut out [ my role ], I don’t think it’s critical," he says, self-deprecatingly, before revealing his scene sees him star alongside, "what's-his-name and the applesauce girl." That'll be Will Ferrell and Christina Applegate then…
Directed by McKay and co-starring Paul Rudd, Steve Carell and David Koechner, Anchorman: The Legend Continues opens in the UK on 20 December 2013.
