Ubisoft has released a new nine minute Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag video previewing all aspects of the upcoming game. The ‘101 trailer’ provides an introduction to the game's story, pirate life, naval warfare, ship upgrades, exotic locations and animals in the open world, underwater gameplay, stealth, weapons and combat mechanics.
The French publisher recently brought forward the European Assassin's Creed 4 release date on Xbox 360 and PS3 to align with the US launch date of October 29, when the Wii U version will also release in the States. The PS4, Xbox One, Wii U and PC versions are set for release on November 22 in Europe. In the US, the PS4 edition will be available on November 15, the PC one on November 19, and the Xbox One version on November 22.
Ubisoft has already announced a variety of Assassin's Creed 4 DLC packs for all versions of the game excluding Wii U. Set for release by March 2014, the add-on packs will include extra single player missions, in-game items, multiplayer characters and a new side-story starring Adewale, who plays protagonist Edward Kenway's first mate in the main game.
