Ninja Gaiden 3 will be Wii U launch title, PS3/360 get the game February
At least we know there’ll be something to play on launch day
Tecmo Koei was one of several third parties showing early support for Wii U, Nintendo’s next piece of hardware. Ninja Gaiden 3 was one of the first non-Nintendo games shown for the system and now we know it’ll be some of the first games on sale for it too. The publisher confirmed Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge will launch with the hardware, along with revealing the planned month of release for the other versions as well.
In an earnings report for the publisher they mention that the company is preparing a version of the ninja slayer to launch with Nintendo’s next console at whatever point in time the home console will go on sale. Subtitled Razor’s Edge, the Nintendo-specific version should have some updates to make it work better with the console’s touch pad capabilities. Tecmo Koei also listed that the PS3 and 360 versions of Ninja Gaiden 3 should be out next February, making it just another big game that's already crowding early 2012 with potential greatness.
