Nintendo releasing 3DS in Japan on Nov 11th? Santa's fat ass will be exhausted come Xmas
Pity Europe may not get the handheld until 2011
Brace yourselves for some exciting news, folks. Nintendo%26rsquo;s hugely anticipated 3DS looks like it will hit stores as soon as November 11th. Hells yes! Wait, there%26rsquo;s more. Uh, huh. Only in Japan, you say? Won%26rsquo;t go on sale in Europe until Spring 2011, huh? Excuse us for one moment%26hellip; FUUUUUUUUUUUU. Right, now that we%26rsquo;ve composed ourselves, read belowto find out the latest rumours about the handheld%26rsquo;s launch date.
Above: Seriously, Santa's gonna have a stroke if that thing comes out in time for Christmas
If German newspaper Bild is to be believed (it may be the biggest selling paper in Europe, but we%26rsquo;re the highly suspicious types) Nintendo%26rsquo;s box of 3D trickery will be released in Japan in early November and will %26ldquo;probably%26rdquo; be out in Europe next spring.
It%26rsquo;s all just speculation, of course. Although Bild has a habit of being right on this sort of stuff. Previously in 2005, the paper broke the news of the Wiimote two days before it was officially announced. Either way,Nintendo will reveal the launch date and pricing details in two days time, anyhoo. So we%26rsquo;ll soon know if the paper is spouting shit or not.
Above: What a scoop, indeed
If there is a long delay between the system coming out in Japan compared to the US and Europe, would you consider importing the machine? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
