Hey, remember when Nintendo showed off that little 3D thingy at E3 earlier this year? Whatever happened to that? It looks like we'll finally hear more about the 3DS and where it's headed at a press event that's been scheduled for January 19.
In fact, two events will behappening onthe same day - one in New York and one in Europe.
Excitement ran high after the 3DS was first unveiled in June, but Nintendo suffered production problems and was forced to delay the system's launch, losing some of its steam in the process. It was originally supposed to launch in Japan before the end of the year, but that's been pushed back to February 26.
Ideally, we'll be singing a different tune on January 20. According to the invitations to the pressevent, there will be "hands-on game play, demos and a presentation by president and COO of Nintendo of America Reggie Fils-Aime." We'll be there!
