No Tomb Raider demo pre-launch
You wouldn't want to break up this story
Square-Enix's Tomb Raider reboot will not receive a demo version ahead of its March 5 release, according to Crystal Dynamics.
Karl Stewart, Global Brand Director, said in a tweet: "For all those @tombraider fans asking. There are no plans to release a demo of the game pre-launch. We don't want to spoil the story........ " before adding: "...We've weaved such an [sic] personal story we don't believe spoiling it by having you wait a week or so to play on, delivers on our promise."
Stewart also promised to explain more in the next Tomb Raider Crystal Habit podcast which is due tomorrow. While this doesn't rule out a demo post-launch, it does mean a long wait for the series' many fans. We've already played it, of course, and share our experiences with you in 21 awesome things we did and saw in Tomb Raider.
