Only yesterday SFX brought you the news that Nick Frost will be at this year’s Kapow! Comic Convention , and today we’re pleased to reveal that Noel Clarke will be appearing too.
He and director Johannes Roberts will be presenting exclusive footage from their new film Storage 24 , before answering questions and taking part in a signing. Noel will then head to the Total Film/SFX/Comic Heroes stage for an interview, where – who knows? – he could discuss anything from Doctor Who to the Star Trek sequel .
The movie movie sees Charlie (Clarke) and his girlfriend (Antonia Campbell-Hughes) at Storage 24, dividing up their possessions, fresh from a break-up. Unbeknownst to them, a military plane carrying deadly secrets has crashed over London, and soon they find themselves trapped in the warehouse with a recent escapee…
If you want the chance to see scenes from the film, and hear from it’s star and director, a month before it comes out, then you’ll need a ticket to Kapow! You can get yours from the official site but be quick, as the event takes place on 19 and 20 May, at the London Business Design Centre.
As well as an expanding list of movie-related guests, the convention boasts comedians Jimmy Carr and Frankie Boyle, and comic creators including Mark Millar, Frank Quitely and Warren Ellis.
