NOW! That's what GR calls crap music
The worst videogame music you've ever heard
Tetris
Tetris is one of the few elite contenders for 'best videogame ever made'. Incredibly simple, utterly mesmerizing and perfectly suited to its most popular platform - the Nintendo Game Boy - it's flawless. But there's a second reason for its trance-like gameplay. And that's the loop of music (perhaps the most well-known game music in the world?) that annoys some people so much, they'll threaten physical violence if you so much as whistle it.
Some 37 seconds of looped music that never changes is bound to get into your head sooner or later. But when you start suffering from withdrawal symptoms that can only be quashed with that "do, do do doo, do do doo, do do doo..." starting up through in-ear headphones, you know you may actually be going insane. There are other music options, sure, but they're not the same somehow. It's special, yes... but let's be honest, that doesn't mean it's not awful.
