NVIDIA GeForce NOW Gets Evil Dead: The Game and many others on day one
Excited to face down the hordes of Deadites and finally put the Kandarian demon to rest in Evil Dead: The Game? You can get right in on the action with NVIDIA GeForce NOW as the game streaming platform is getting the new title right alongside the launch on PC and console.
In Evil Dead: The Game, you’ll get to jump into the Evil Dead universe and play as your favorite characters from the original film trilogy as well as the Ash vs Evil Dead TV series. The game includes 16 playable human characters, including each iteration of Ash himself, and has original voice acting with new lines from various cast members from the shows and movies.
You’ll jump into the hero’s seat with up to three other players to conquer demonic forces in co-op gameplay that has you gather up map segments, search for the Kandarian dagger to defeat the Dark Ones, and ultimately get your hands on the Necronomicon to send the Kandarian demon packing. You’ll face plenty of AI-controlled Deadites along the way, and need to hunt down better loot and Pink F to level up the stats of your character as you prepare for later stages of battle. Of course, you’ll also be facing down fear itself as you progress.
It’s not just a hero’s journey, though, as one player can take on the role of the Kandarian demon and work to prevent Ash and his scrappy squad from succeeding. As the Kandarian demon, you can send in Deadites and powerful demons to do battle on your behalf, possess objects to terrorize and disrupt the players, or even jump into the bodies of Deadites and even heroes to really put the pressure on. The game is set to let you relive the horrors — and contribute some of your own — of the Evil Dead franchise.
