On the trail of Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
We excavate all the info on one of PS3's best kept secrets
While plot details for Uncharted are - as we've said - safely locked away for the moment, Naughty Dog has promised that there will be plenty of story to keep the action propped up, boasting that it already has close to an hour's worth of cinematics in the bag, all of which has been created with real, motion-captured actors.
The developer has also been super focused on making the in-game characters move in a completely human, believable manner, using its animation system to create a staggering amount of motions and stances. So, don't expect Drake to assume exactly the same posture like a pre-programmed mannequin every time he takes cover.
Gamers can also rest assured that they will get plenty of popcorn dropping, cinematic set-pieces for their money, with Naughty Dog promising that the action will be flavored with plenty of dramatic stunts and cliff-hanger moments, the most dramatic of which will be viewed from the optimum angle for maximum visual impact.
