One of Prime Day's top Nintendo Switch deals just returned at Best Buy
Save up to $30 with these Nintendo Switch game bundles
While Amazon's annual sale may be a distant memory now, we're still seeing some of the top Nintendo Switch deals of last week reigning supreme on the shelves. You can currently save $30 on a copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online membership when bought together - bringing the final price down to just $49.99 at Best Buy. Yep, Best Buy has stepped in to offer this excellent discount, after Amazon pulled its own saving after the Prime Day sale ended.
Not only are you getting that $19.99 Nintendo Switch Online membership for free here, but you're also saving $10 on the $59.99 game itself. That means you're getting a $79.99 value for just under $50 today - particularly impressive considering neither of these products sees too many savings day to day.
If you're already well stocked on Mario Kart courses, though, Best Buy's Nintendo Switch deals also include this offer on Animal Crossing: New Horizons. While there's no saving on the game itself here, you're still getting the 12-month Nintendo Switch Online membership for free thanks to that $59.99 cost (was $79.99). That's perfect for sharing your island and visiting / judging your friends' digs as well.
You'll find more information on both of these offers just below, and plenty more Nintendo Switch deals further down the page.
Today's best Nintendo Switch deals
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe | 12-months Nintendo Switch Online | $79.99 $49.99 at Best Buy
Save $30 - Not only has Mario Kart 8 Deluxe taken a $10 discount at Best Buy by itself, but you can also pick up a free 12-month Nintendo Switch Online membership at the same time. That makes this one of the best offers we've seen in a long time, packing $30 worth of savings into two rarely discounted products.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons | 12-month Nintendo Switch Online membership | $79.99 $59.99 at Best Buy
Save $20 - Animal Crossing: New Horizons is also taking part in today's Nintendo Switch deals, though there's no direct saving on the game itself here. Still, that $20 discount on the Nintendo Switch Online membership nets you 12 months for free whereas we rarely see any price cuts at all.
Do you need a Nintendo Switch Online membership?
A Nintendo Switch Online membership isn't one of the must-have Nintendo Switch accessories if you don't play with friends over the internet and you're not fussed about catching up on some retro titles. The extra library of old NES and SNES titles is nice to have if you're retro-minded, and the cloud storage is a solid support option, but you can easily get by without a subscription. That said, more and more games are offering compelling online multiplayer options, from Animal Crossing to Splatoon, and considering the 12-month Nintendo Switch Online price is just $19.99 it's well worth a look if you're keen on upgrading your experience.
