Oops! The Avengers 4 title might have just been revealed by one of the Guardians of the Galaxy
Well, that didn’t last long. Following on from yesterday’s news that Avengers 4’s title hasn’t been revealed yet because it’s a spoiler for Avengers: Infinity War, one of the movie’s stars – Zoe Saldana – may have just revealed the title. Possible spoilers ahead but, honestly, it’s a pretty obvious ‘spoiler’ if true.
Speaking to the BBC’s Lizo Mzimba, Guardians of the Galaxy 2’s Zoe Saldana had a sudden slip of the tongue that will leave Marvel execs facepalming in their boardrooms (probably). So, the big title? Drumroll please: Avengers: Infinity Gauntlet.

See? Told you it was pretty obvious.
Taking Saldana’s (accidental) words as gospel, that would mean Thanos’ introduction may come late in Avengers: Infinity War, with the movie’s ending being based around the purple tyrant finally collecting all of the Infinity Stones and holding them in his Infinity Gauntlet.
For the uninitiated, the Infinity Gauntlet is basically a big ol’ glove used to harness the power of the Infinity Stones that are scattered across the MCU. We’ve already seen in, for example, Guardians of the Galaxy, it takes a helluva lot of power to wield even one of these bad boys, so Thanos bringing them together is a big deal, to put it lightly. And definitely something that would rival Luke’s arrival in Star Wars: The Force Awakens as one of the biggest cliffhangers in recent memory.
