Our videogame Christmas cards, rated
We mercilessly judge the papery gifts kindly sent to us by the gaming industry, like big rotten children
Best wishes from... Lionhead
You could be forgiven for not recognising the origins of this card, with the small Lionhead logo nestled in the full moon. But then you notice the cottage has a distinctly Fable-like vibe to it. And there's a dog of course. Peter Molyneux loves dogs.
Visuals | 9 | Very nice art, with a tangible contrast between the cold landscape and cosy cottage
Festiveness | 6 | Is it Christmas? Or is the boy being disciplined by his drunken dad? Maybe both
Composition | 9 | Not to be too artsy, but this has great use of foreground and background space
Effort | 9 | There's thought gone into this, even if it doesn't really shout "CHRISTMAS!"
Score: 8
